The Divine Weaver
My life is but a weaving
Between my Lord and me;
I cannot choose the colors
He works steadily.
Oftentimes He weaves sorrow
And I, in foolish pride,
Forget that He sees the upper
And I the underside.
Not until the loom is silent
And the shuttles cease to fly,
Shall God unroll the canvas
And explain the reason why.
The dark threads are as needful
In the Weaver’s skillful hand,
As the threads of gold and silver
In the pattern He has planned.
Between my Lord and me;
I cannot choose the colors
He works steadily.
Oftentimes He weaves sorrow
And I, in foolish pride,
Forget that He sees the upper
And I the underside.
Not until the loom is silent
And the shuttles cease to fly,
Shall God unroll the canvas
And explain the reason why.
The dark threads are as needful
In the Weaver’s skillful hand,
As the threads of gold and silver
In the pattern He has planned.

This came right at the right time for me....I have been asking a lot of why's and how's and what next questions lately that this just put me at ease today. I will know the answer to all my questions when I'm supposed to know them. My job today is to be faithful, not fearful.
JC is my BFF.
